Love your face and how face yoga helps
"Love your face" – almost everyone says that to themselves at some point, meaning they wish they could love their face as it is. But most of the time, it's actually quite difficult to simply accept and love it. You see flaws in your face that others find fascinating – but not you. You see signs of aging here and there, or a congenital asymmetry that bothers no one else, but that YOU have never been able to stand.
Over time, your perspective leads to a number of uncertainties, preventing you from recognizing yourself as the masterpiece you already are.
Love your face – and why that's sometimes difficult
Obstacles along the way
Even in our youth, when our bodies are growing and constantly changing, and hormones alter our physical appearance, we aren't always happy. Eventually, puberty finally ends, the pimples disappear, and only small, inconspicuous scars remain as reminders of this phase.
At 40, the first wrinkles appear, whether from hearty laughter, many worries, or simply a life lived to the fullest. Crow's feet here, frown lines there. At 50, facial changes enter the next phase – our muscles begin to atrophy and sag. This includes the facial muscles. There are various reasons for this, including:
Poor posture, which manifests itself over the years, and of course gravity, contribute to the skin on the face sagging.
Obstacle 1: impatience
At some point, you might decide to do something to improve or change the areas you perceive as problem areas. You discover the Face Yoga method, where you train your facial muscles with targeted exercises, stimulate blood circulation in your facial skin, and tighten it.
Every day, you diligently practice facial yoga. After a while, you realize you're not sure if anything is happening – is there any success, any change? Hmm, yes, maybe a little. Why isn't it going faster? "Love your face" is easier said than done.
Obstacle 2: the doubts
And most of the time, even if you briefly allow yourself to acknowledge that some visible success has indeed occurred, you immediately hear yourself adding a "BUT..." Doubt and insecurity prevail, and even positive feedback from others doesn't register with you. Love your face without doubt – you can learn that.
Obstacle 3: the refusal to accept
Face yoga can help you finally say YES to yourself when you look at your face in the mirror and tell yourself, "I love my face." Saying YES doesn't mean being enthusiastic about everything you see, but simply saying YES to yourself, YES to just as you are right now. Because you've essentially been waiting for this YES your whole life. You only hear it from others, but you can't acknowledge it yourself because you deny it to yourself. It has to come from you!
Love your face – how face yoga can help you
Targeted training of all the important facial muscles is one aspect of face yoga exercises. The other aspect, which accompanies face yoga training of your facial muscles, comes from deep within you.
Face Yoga shows you that you are your own authority figure, for whom you are allowed to be responsible, and that you accept and acknowledge any perceived flaw (whatever it may be). Only what you possess, what belongs to you, can transform you, that is, change you. When you have accepted something within yourself, it brings you joy and makes you very cooperative, quite unconsciously. Your transformation then progresses more easily, and soon you will find it much easier to love your face.
