FACES - the power of the face meets FACE YOGA - the power of charisma
The exhibition Faces at the Albertina was dedicated to the radical renewal of portrait photography in Germany and Austria during the interwar period.
It was a particularly beautiful experience for me to hold a live Instagram relaxation session in this setting in front of the expressive portraits by Helmar Lerski, which particularly highlight facial expressions.
To conclude the exhibition, here's another video on YouTube.
Enjoy!
FACES - the power of the face meets FACE YOGA - the power of charisma
How we see and perceive ourselves not only influences our reflection, but also how we are perceived by our environment.
Face yoga fosters a kind and self-confident attitude towards oneself. Our faces reflect all our joy, but also disappointment, stress, anger, and fear. This puts physical and mental strain on our facial muscles and triggers a chain reaction in our body.
Tension in one area causes tension in another. As a holistic practice, Face Yoga helps us to locate, feel, then relieve, and finally train our facial muscles.
Breathing, posture, and habits play a major role.
I am very excited to introduce everyone to Face Yoga in front of some of the magnificent portraits in this exhibition.
