After my great success at the European Face Matrix Championship in Paris, I'm off to Tokyo for the final

I’m incredibly honored to represent Austria at the Face Matrix World Championship in Tokyo!

At the European competition in Paris, I secured 4th place among 20 participants – using a method that’s especially close to my heart: Face Yoga by Fumiko Takatsu combined with the Face Pointer.

The championship embraces the traditional Japanese Mitate philosophy, which views the face holistically and focuses on natural harmony, individual bone structure, and inner balance.

The goal of the competition – and my personal approach – is to make each person’s natural beauty visible. Not through change, but through conscious activation and balance.

Neck killer No. 1

Face Yoga also helps you to become aware of different habits, poor posture and the impact they have in changes in your face.

Undisputed first place: looking down onto our cell phones for hours!

This bad posture places extreme strain on the neck - the ligaments in this area are constantly overstretched and the muscles are under tension for several hours a day.

An adult's head weighs an average of five kilograms.
The more forward tilted the head is when looking at your cell phone, the greater the weight of the head is on the neck.

Those forces affect you

Be aware of your posture!

FACES - IN THE ALBERTINA

The exhibition is dedicated to the radical renewal of portrait photography in Germany and Austria in the interwar period.

It was a particularly beautiful experience for me to hold a live Instagram relaxation session in this ambience in front of the expressive portraits of Helmar Lerski, which particularly illuminate the facial expressions.

At the end of the exhibition my Youtube video.

Enjoy!

FACES - IN THE ALBERTINA

How we see and perceive ourselves not only influences our reflection in the mirror, but also how we are perceived by those around us.
Face yoga gives you a benevolent, self-confident attitude towards yourself.
Our faces reflect all our joy, but also disappointment, stress, anger and fear.
This stresses our facial muscles physically & mentally and triggers a series of chain reactions in our bodies.
Tense one – tense the other
As a holistic teaching, face yoga excercises help us locate, feel, then release and finally train our facial muscles.
Breathing, posture and habits also play a big role.

I am very excited to introduce face yoga to everyone with some great portraits in this exhibit in the background.
